I remember being on the fence for a bit at the time. The thing that ended up deciding me against Trump was that there's a lot of issues and decisions I wasn't even thinking about, and Trump's unique combination of pettiness and incompetence meant he'd probably do even worse on them than Harris. That seems to have checked out in retrospect (although with the qualifier that we genuinely don't know what kind of unforced errors a Harris administration might have made; Harris does not strike me as someone who would avoid making any big mistakes).
